Data security, certifications and reporting requirements – What does the new Data Protection Ordinance mean for companies?
Niederer Kraft Frey AG, Bahnhofstrasse 53, 8001 Zürich – 08:00 – 09:00 a.m.
The totally revised Data Protection Act (“DSG”), the implementing provisions in the new Data Protection Ordinance (“DSV”) and the new Ordinance on Data Protection Certifications (“VDSZ”) come into force on September 1, 2023 – What should companies bear in mind? Which analyses need to be carried out and which documents need to be newly created or amended?
We will discuss these and other questions together with you on the occasion of a small group workshop focusing on the topics of the revised DSV. Namely, we will discuss how to ensure data security, certifications, TOMs, data retention guidelines, inventory of processing activities as well as the reporting obligations to the Federal Data Protection and Information Officer.
