IDAK Food Group acquires Romer’s Hausbäckerei AG

Niederer Kraft Frey advised IDAK Food Group, a premium frozen food provider with highest quality standards, on the acquisition of a majority stake in Romer’s Hausbäckerei AG. NKF further advised IDAK Food Group on the financing of the transaction. The transaction was completed in August 2023.

Romer’s Hausbäckerei AG specialises in frozen bakery products and pastries. The company employs around 350 people in Benken SG and Oberburg BE. Together with its distribution partners, it is active throughout Switzerland, has a very strong market position and supplies several thousand hotels and restaurants, bulk buyers and retailers.
