Corialis acquires Gutmann Group
Niederer Kraft Frey advised Corialis, a portfolio company of the private equity firm Astorgon, as Swiss law advisor on the acquisition of European Gutmann Group.
Corialis, headquartered in Belgium, is a leading European designer and manufacturer of aluminium systems for windows and doors, with a specific focus on the residential and renovation segments. The company serves residential and commercial markets in over 60 countries across the globe and employs around 3’000 people. Corialis has been a part of Astorg’s portfolio since 2021.
Astorg is a leading pan-European private equity firm with over EUR 23 billion of assets under management. Headquartered in Luxembourg, Astorg has offices in London, Paris, New York, Frankfurt and Milan.
Founded in 1937, Gutmann group employs around 700 people at its headquarters in Weissenburg, Bavaria (Germany). The transaction includes the companies Gutmann GmbH, Gutmann Bausysteme GmbH, Color/G Aluminium and the Swiss sales entity Aluswiss AG.
