NKF appoints four new partners and one counsel
Niederer Kraft Frey is pleased to announce the appointments of Daniel Antognini, Simon Bühler, Thomas Hochstrasser and Janine Reudt-Demont as partners, effective 1 January 2024. At the same time, Livia Keller was promoted to counsel. With these appointments, NKF now has a total of 50 partners in Zurich and Geneva.
Daniel Antognini specialises in private and commercial client work and advises national and international clients on inheritance and estate law, foundations law, contract, corporate and commercial law. His work also includes dispute resolution. Daniel is a Certified Specialist SBA Inheritance Law and recognised by Legal 500 for his work in the area of Private Clients. At the Citywealth Future Leaders Awards 2022, Daniel won the bronze award in the category “Lawyer of the Year – Senior/Managing Associate”.
Simon Bühler is a banking and regulatory specialist who advises Swiss and international clients on a broad spectrum of regulatory matters and financial transactions. His expertise covers advising banks, insurance companies and financial institutions on licenses (including FinTech), regulatory, civil law and compliance matters. Simon also supports clients in internal investigations and represents them in contentious regulatory matters, such as enforcement proceedings.
Thomas Hochstrasser advises Swiss and foreign private clients, entrepreneurs and executives, regarding all matters of commercial, corporate, banking, finance and regulatory law. He also regularly represents national and international clients in complex litigation proceedings. Further, he is a leading expert in the field of sports law. Thomas has been ranked by Legal 500 as a recommended key lawyer in his field and won the gold award in the category “Lawyer of the Year IFC” at the Citywealth Future Leaders Awards 2023 in London. He is a member of the board of several corporations and chairman of a FINMA-authorized asset manager of collective investments.
Janine Reudt-Demont is a life sciences and healthcare specialist. Her experience covers the regulation of all aspects of the medtech and pharmaceutical industry and other regulated products such as cosmetics and foodstuffs. Janine further possesses specialist knowledge and experience in distribution, franchising, e-commerce as well as product liability and product safety matters (including recalls). In addition, she regularly advises and represents clients in data protection matters. In 2021, Janine received the renowned Client Choice award in the Life Sciences category. Janine is listed as a Thought Leader Switzerland 2022 by Who’s Who Legal for Franchise and Life Sciences and has been recognised as a Rising Star in Product Liability at the IFLR Rising Stars Awards EMEA 2022.
Livia Keller specialises in litigation and employment law. She represents clients in employment, contractual, commercial and corporate disputes before cantonal courts and the Federal Court. In addition, she has special expertise in advising clients on various aspects of employment law, e.g., on employment agreements, employee handbooks, working time regulations, bonus schemes, terminations, domestic and international staff leasing, and employment law issues in connection with domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and restructurings, including employment due diligence, transfer of employees and mass dismissals. Livia has been frequently recommended for Employment law by Legal 500.
