Axpo sold minority stake in Axpo Volt Beteiligung AG to BVK

Niederer Kraft Frey advised Axpo Holding AG on the sale of a minority stake in Axpo Volt Beteiligung AG to BVK.

Axpo Volt Beteiligung AG, which was fully held by Axpo Holding AG prior to this transaction, holds a 31.37 per cent stake in the national grid company Swissgrid. By selling a 49.9 per cent stake in Axpo Volt Beteiligung AG to the Swiss pension fund BVK, Axpo and BVK are entering into a long-term partnership.
