Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank and ING Bank N.V. arrange refinancing for Green
Niederer Kraft Frey advised Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (agent, underwriter and mandated lead arranger), ING Bank N.V. (underwriter and mandated lead arranger), Credit Suisse (Switzerland) Ltd. (lead arranger) and the syndicate on the refinancing of Green’s existing credit facilities agreement. The refinancing aims to support Green’s growth investment program and to strengthen its market position.
Green is a leading Swiss data center platform and full-service provider backed by Infravia, a leading European private equity firm based in Paris and specialised in infrastructure and technology investments. Green was an early player in the Swiss data center market and today operates state-of-the-art data centers, develops innovative cloud services and offers internet and networking solutions for residential customers and large businesses alike, including global hyperscale customers. In recent years, Green has invested into innovative and sustainable technologies and further developed its data center infrastructure and capabilities to suit hyperscale needs and modern colocation requirements. Sustainability is also firmly embedded inside Green’s new 46,000 m2 Zurich Metro Campus, where three high-performance datacenters are being built: air flow simulations, cooling systems for the data rooms and wasteheat recovery for the buildings mean that energy consumption can be kept to a minimum, irrespective of whether the center is used at partial or full capacity.
The NKF team was led by M&A/Finance partner Adrian Koller, working with partner Philip Spoerlé, junior associates Carlotta Ulmer and Alexander Züger (all M&A/Finance) as well as partner Markus Kronauer (Tax).
