NKF appoints two new counsels as of 1 July 2022
Niederer Kraft Frey is pleased to announce the promotion of Franziska Albers-Schönberg and Martin Schaub as new counsels, effective 1 July 2022.
Franziska Albers-Schönberg has extensive experience advising corporates, investment banks and investors on cross-jurisdictional capital markets transactions including initial public offerings, rights issues, private placements and bond issuances. Franziska also advises public companies on general corporate, corporate governance and securities regulation matters. Prior to joining NKF in 2021, Franziska was a managing associate at a leading international firm in London and Frankfurt, where she acted as U.S. counsel on capital markets transactions across Europe, the U.S. and emerging markets.
Martin Schaub joined NKF in 2012. His practice focuses on financial markets supervisory law, anti-money laundering law, banking law in general and internal and supervisory investigations. Martin also regularly advises financial industry clients on secrecy, blocking and data protection statutes and economic sanctions, and assists them in legal and administrative assistance proceedings.
With the promotion of Franziska and Martin, NKF further strengthens its Capital Markets/Corporate capabilities and its Banking, Finance & Regulatory and Investigations & Enforcement, White Collar Crime practices.
