Swisspearl Group AG acquires Cembrit Group A/S

Niederer Kraft Frey advised Credit Suisse and UBS as arrangers on the financing of Swisspearl Group’s acquisition of Cembrit Group A/S.

Swisspearl Group AG, known for its Eternit and Swisspearl brands, is a leading creator of aesthetic and sustainable building envelopes and living spaces. Cembrit Group A/S is a leading manufacturer of multi-capability fibre cement products for building applications in Europe. Cembrit was previously owned by Swedish investment group Solix. The company currently employs 1,400 people and has subsidiaries in 20 countries and operates five modern plants located in Poland, Hungary, Finland, and the Czech Republic.
